The living room
The down stairs has an open floor plan so we had to define space with our furniture. Most of our wood furniture is black so I also had a lot of painting to do to make the rest of our furniture match. We have some rubber trees in the manor they add a nice feel. I'm working on getting these satinish burnt orange triangle valances for the downstairs. From behind the loveseat to the right in that sunny room is a little office not really set up yet ahead past the living room is a short hallway leading to a bathroom going right then in the middle the washer dryer another door seperates the garage.
The Backyard
This is the back yard where we do have work to do. We both enjoy yard work so it's been pretty fun lately. Clint dug up what was supposed to be a grassy area to fix the sprinklers and he has completed that successfully with surprisingly little cost.
I plan on planting some pumpkins pretty soon here in that big box once I move all that gravel to the side of the house and till and mix the soil. Our shed is cute, glad we have one for all the garden tools. We also took apart that big round red disaster in the middle wall of the yard and all these crazy roots have been removed.
Soon we will try our hand at growing a patch of grass.
Red Yuccas
We also have some Red Yucca plants, the ones that have the red flower poking up out of them and looks kind of cactus like. My Compliments to the home flippers four houses down. They ripped them out of the ground by the roots from that property and left them dead for pickup. I had been considering buying a bunch of these from the nursery but now I didn't have to wait.
Clint's Grandma Alaura let us have this antique shopping cart when we first moved in. Couldn't wait to make it a flower pot.

Front yard trees and shrubs
The Bushes by the walk way up to the house are Texas sage and they have turned nice and green since we moved in and started watering them. I cant wait until summer because they are supposed to get these very cute purple flowers on them like that photo below.
Next thing was we had this kind of bigger tree that was super messy and not really even thriving in the front yard so we took that out and put this attractive flowering plum tree in for just forty dollars can you believe it? It will be so beautiful when it grows up.
The front of the manor
So here we have the front of Vermillion manor. Yes we did well didn't we?
Well the front was pretty much done you can say except we found a couple things were going to change in the landscaping. Especially loved the bigger stone "river" down the front side yard and we had to put our own personal touch to it so then there were fish for the side of the house. We agreed it would be neat to have something out of the ordinary on the house besides a sun like everyone else.

First off I would like to thank Chad Roberts from Zip Realty for being an amazing real estate agent. It was a real pleasure working with him compared to the other realtors. Here's his link for anyone interested in a home in Las Vegas. http://www.ziprealty.com/agent/chroberts
